Our 2024 Festa collaboration brings you "Cammino di Hepburn" (meaning Hepburn Walk in English)
Enjoy a leisurely 1 hour small group walking tour of the stunning Hepburn village. We'll celebrate and highlight our rich and extraordinary Swiss & Italian culture and history, past and present.
Come along and be enthralled by the stories of the characters who built this village. Enjoy the Italian and art deco architecture. See inside some of the rare built environments dating back to the 1850s (when available)

As part of the Swiss Italian Festa 2024, join us for morning tea at the stunning Mineral Springs Hotel in Hepburn Springs and meet Author Maria Harris (nee Triaca), in conversation with Cathy Samsury (nee del Negro).
Maria Harris (nee Triaca) is author of “Amelia A Long Journey”
Maria wrote the story of her Nonna (Grandmother) Amelia, who was sent from Italy to Daylesford in 1904, as a 14-year-old to care for her aging uncle.
Maria;s book was first published in 1985 and is a remarkable and enduring story of love, hardship, resilience and adversity. In recognition of the value and perpetuity of Amelia’s story, in 2024 it was translated into Italian & is published via Amazon books.

We now have a range of walks to choose from. They cover diverse histories, culture, food, nature and architecture.
Daylesford Walk:
Ideal for history lovers of all ages and backgrounds, the Autumn Wonderland walking tour will take you back in time as you walk through the living museum that is the town of Daylesford. Autumn is wonderful for getting outdoors and exploring the world around us. Get out and about to discover the living museum of Daylesford on foot. It's easy walking, and you'll enjoy great views of the surrounding region along the way. You may even connect with your own history and sense of belonging to this special place.
Locals and visitors alike will be enthralled by the topics and unique insight shared. Your independent local guide will share secrets and stories while visiting key sites around town. You'll leave knowing more about the region's pre-colonial, colonial and even prehistoric past.
We’ll cover gold, econonmic, social and archtectural history and culture. We’ll visit some of the most iconic buildings in the town including Daylesford Town Hall, Daylesford Primary School, Daylesford Court House, Churches and Police Lockup.
Daylesford Tours go for 1.5 hours, operating at times to suit you and cover approximately 2 to 3 kilometres of Daylesford. The pace is gentle, but there are some hills. Wear good walking shoes and comfortable clothing suitable for the season.
