Daizy
Co-FOUNDER & Tour guide
Sharing my passion for living history was sparked while doing an economic history major in Melbourne in the 90’s. This sparked my curiosity in all things historical. For over 6 years I have been exploring with visitors and locals to unearth the unique living history of the Hepburn area which is always a highlight of my week. Returning to Melbourne in 2025 will see me create a whole new historical offering there as well.
I am the co-owner and principal tour guide of Alice's Journeys Walking Tours, and have been a local to the region for twenty five years. Born and bred in central Victoria I established the company as a women owned, independent, tour operation in 2018. I've travelled extensively in Australia and overseas and developed this unique walking tour to showcase the town and display its rich history. Walks feature pre and post colonisation to present day, with curated untold stories and exclusive access to secret spaces and buildings and unusual tracks and pathways.
